Summer Camp

Dancing Sky Ranch will be accepting 4 young adults age 16 to 25.
Our mission will be to teach a way of life that is being forgotten in today's society. Those accepted will be given the chance to experience what very few today ever will. In both work and play.

Our farming and ranching, vacationing, operation covers many different, play and work opportunities. Everyone will be included in the day-to-day pleasures and work.

Some of the things that will be experienced are but no limited to. Learning about horses, caring for, feeding, how to ride, camp, navigation, and Trail riding. Planting of crops, driving tractor, some mechanical like, how and where to check oil, the difference in motors and fuels, harvesting hay, enjoying the new life on the farm, building projects, crafts, Canoeing, fishing, swimming, overnight camping, cooking over a camp fire, hay rides, building and repairing trails, archery, survival skills, boating, and many more fun and work related activities.

What will be learned?

Life skills, self confidence, work ethics, honesty, communication and communication skills, working with others, taking orders, responsibility, the joy of finishing a job. A different way of life, and whole new way to have fun. The joy of a silent night around a campfire.

Why is this important in a youth's life?

While learning the simple way of farm /ranch life the youth also learns and is prepared for the working world. The most sought after workers in the work force are from ranches and farms; the lessons learned from this experience last a lifetime and will benefit all who participate. This is not just any camp this is a life skills camp.
